Collecting is an act of self-discovery.

Yasmin Sharabi is an art advisor based in Big Sky, Montana. With 20 years experience in the art world, she brings a multicultural perspective shaped by her heritage, her global education, and her years living and working across the Middle East and beyond.

She was previously Director of the RAK Art Foundation in Bahrain, where she oversaw the Foundation's collection and curated international exhibitions for its founder, His Excellency Sheikh Rashid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, an internationally recognized artist and collector. She also managed his studio and project-managed numerous exhibitions abroad, building a strong international network of artists, collectors, and cultural institutions along the way.

Her most recent project was the curation of the RAK Art Collection, a museum in Bahrain housing a significant collection of modern and contemporary art from the Middle East and North Africa. The curatorial premise explored the concept of continuity: how artists from the region navigate the space between heritage and the future, tradition and innovation.

As an advisor, Yasmin approaches every client relationship with sensitivity and a deep commitment to listening. She believes that collecting is a deeply personal act, one that reflects identity, passion, and lived experience. She takes the time to truly understand each client's desires, values, and vision, honoring the unique story that only they can tell through the art they choose to live with.

Yasmin holds a BA in Studio Art and Art History, with a minor in Psychology, from Concordia University in Montreal (2004), and an MA in Art Business from Sotheby's Institute of Art in London (2006). She is also a certified hypnotherapist, yoga instructor, and trained end-of-life doula, practices that inform her belief in art as a means of expressing identity, purpose, and belonging. An artist herself, Yasmin’s work exploring themes of heritage, memory, and the confluence of loss and love.
